Bellavida was created when five close friends formed a band during the last year of high school.The music in Bellavida's EP resembles indie-rock with a pop influence. Their sound tap into many genres including: jazz, hard rock, singer-songwriter, indie, and alternative music such as Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, Muse, Amy Winehouse, Grouplove, Cage The Elephant, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
